Dr. Sheldon M. Schuster, Director

Shelly Schuster is President of Keck Graduate Institute. Formerly Assistant Vice President for Research and Graduate Education, University of Florida, 2002-03, he was director of the UF Biotechnology Program, 1992-2002; director of Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research, 1989-1992; and professor of biochemistry and molecular biology, 1989-2003. Before moving to the University of Florida, he was professor of Chemistry and Biological Sciences at the University of Nebraska. He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and of the Board of Directors, National Organization of Rare Disorders (NORD). He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Arizona, 1974 and his B.A. in Biochemistry from UC Davis, 1970.
