PBC announces 10th Anniversary Open House
Part of the CONNECT Weekend
Friday, March 14th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Formed in 2004, the Pasadena Bioscience Collaborative (PBC) is a non-profit biotech incubator created to support the growing number of life science start-ups in the Los Angeles area. PBC warmly invites entrepreneurs, University faculty, students and members of the start-up community to join us as we celebrate 10 years of success at our Open House on March 14th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
This is a rare opportunity to experience firsthand the innovative research happening at PBC and meet some of the cutting edge thinkers who are helping put Pasadena on the map. Tours of the main PBC lab facility will take place throughout the day and PBC tenants will be on hand to explain the science driving their companies into the future.
“PBC is an amazing place where exciting work, great minds and technology meet” says Dr. Eduardo Ayala of Cardigant Medical, one of PBC’s anchor tenants. “I can’t wait for the CONNECT Weekend open house to let the public know about the research being done in their hometown of Pasadena. They can take pride in knowing that their city hosts a biotechnology center that is second to none in all of California.”
Join us for a tour on your way to the other CONNECT Weekend events and be sure to visit the Oak Crest Institute of Science right next door who will also be having their own Open House at the same time!
